See the new Photos page for lake photos of interest at Eagle Lake. Recently added are several pictures of bald Eagles which visited the lake during winter 2011 and 2012.
A new lake level gauge was installed just West of the boat launch late summer 2011.
The high water mark is clearly visibile as a blue line on the lake level gauge.
Please note that this is not the official Township high water mark, but serves as a common reference for lake residents. The water mark is adjusted annually around May 1st.
The gauge will make it very easy to determine the pump on/pump off schedule and allows all residents to keep watch over the lake level.
Eagle Lake located in Texas Township, Kalamazoo County, Michigan is an approximately 225 acre all-sports lake.
The Eagle Lake Association is comprised of many year-round and seasonal lake residents along with residents who have lake access.
The purpose of the association is to protect and improve the environment of Eagle Lake.
