Special Notice – Weed Treatment 2007

Treatment of Eurasian Water milfoil in Eagle Lake with systemic herbicides will be required due to the failure of the initial Sonar application and the denial by the DEQ of a Sonar bump treatment. The new treatment of OTF granular broadleaf herbicide will take place on Tuesday July 10^th. The cost of the material will be paid by Sepro and not the homeowners of Eagle Lake. Since only broadleaf plants are affected by this product watering of established lawn grass is o.k.. However broadleaf plants such as hostas will be effected. It is recommended that you do not irrigate your lawn or flowers from the lake for 2 weeks. A no swim advisory will be in effect for 24 hours.
